Malta - Royal Malta Golf Club There are some excellent holes; none better that the 441 yard par 4 Hole 1. A good drive is needed to avoid the trees on the right and the path on the left. The RMGC signature hole is the par 3 Hole 4, known as the Maid's Bedroom. It is not a particularly difficult hole but is certainly one of the most picturesque. The 382 yard Hole 11 offers a wide fairway giving the golfer an excellent chance to attack the elevated two-tier green. At first sight, the last few holes seem to provide a relatively easy finish, but don't be fooled. |

Oporto - Estela Golf Club Built over 3 kilometres of beautiful dunes on the Costa Verde, it provides breathtaking views over the Atlantic. Two big lakes add to the beauty of the golf course, which can be quite challenging when the wind blowing. Inaccurate drives can be punished by landing in the sand dunes, and almost every occasion a ball lands off the fairway there is little chance of reaching the green with a second shot. |

Surrounded by a combination of woodland and lakes, the magnificently kept fairways, pleasant variety of terrain and the ideal conditions of the course make it a tantalizing opponent for demanding players. |

Palma - Golf Park Puntiro Golf Park Puntiro is an 18 holes course par 71, on an estate of around 165 acres. The difficulty of the course is average, though it can reach high levels from the back tees. The course has been designed according to the topography of the land, without alterations in the field. |

Palma - Golf Santa Ponsa I Santa Ponsa 1 is a 6,543 m, par 72 course which was inaugurated in January 1977. The 10th hole is one of the longest in Europe. Designed by Folco Nardi with assistance from Pepe Gancedo, Golf Santa Ponsa I covers an area of 73 hectares. It is a long, wide course with many indigenous trees and vegetation, water hazards and bunkers. Sete - Golf de Cap D’Agde Construction in 1989, this layout, designed by Ronald Fream, is excellent but the areas immediately skirting the fairways are rocky and so pose a few problems. You will not be bored and will have to remain vigilant, especially if it is windy. All the holes require careful thought before taking the risks required if you hope to card a good score. |

Tunisia - Tunis Golf de Carthage Golf de Carthage was built in 1927 and has put Tunis on the map as a golf destination. Its fairways meander amongst magnificent 100 – year old eucalyptus trees with also pines, cypress and olives providing shade in the summer and exciting colour through the rest of the year. Some holes run alongside gardens in which orange, mandarin and lemon trees are growing. It is a player friendly course in good condition and greens that run straight and true. |

Valencia - El Saler Golf Club Situated just south of the city of Valencia, El Saler Golf Club is located on the Mediterranean and within Albufera Nature Park. It is laid out on terrain dotted with pine trees and sand dunes. Javier Arana designed this course with outstanding fairways and ample greens. El Saler has hosted a number of Spanish Opens and it is considered one of the top European courses and ranked number 29 in the world. |
